Knights of Columbus Council #6354 is proud to sponsor a "Keep Christ in Christmas" poster contest
for three (3) age categories:
Age 5-7 (Grade K-2)
Age 8-10 (Grade 3-5)
Age 11-14 (Grade 6-8)
First prize (one from each age category): $50
Entry is FREE!
Contest limited to the first 75 entrants who submit poster and accompanying entry form on or before Friday 12/09/22.
All posters must be 11x17, should be the sole work of one artist, and contain a slogan and original art work related to the "Keep Christ in Christmas" theme.

Completed posters can be dropped in the box at the parish office on or before 12/09/22. When dropping off poster ensure entrants name and age are printed on the reverse side AND the Entry Form is completed and signed by a parent/guardian. Entry form available at time of poster submission.

Each poster must reflect the Keep Christ in Christmas theme with a visual image.
The Knights of Columbus Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest is open to all youth between the ages of 5 and 14. Age eligibly is determined by the age of the contestant as of November 1.
Contest entrants compete in one of three age groups — ages 5 through 7, ages 8 through 10 and, ages 11 through 14.
The Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest can consist of up to five levels of competition: council, district, regional, jurisdictional and international.
Council: This contest is at the council level.
District: Winning council level posters are forwarded to the district level (if more than one council in the district participates in the poster contest). Winners at the district level are forwarded to regional level.
Regional/Jurisdictional: Winning district level posters are forwarded to the regional/jurisdictional level The regional level of competition usually only takes place in larger jurisdictions.
International: Winning regional/jurisdictional level posters are forwarded to the international level.
Poster must reflect the theme of Keep Christ in Christmas.
Each poster should be the original work (including concept, layout, slogan and any visual images) of a single person.
Poster should be approximately 11x17 inches. If pastels, chalk or charcoal are used, the poster must be laminated or covered with clear plastic.
Each poster must be submitted with a Knights of Columbus Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest entry form.
The name and age of the entrant should be printed on the reverse side of the poster in case the poster and entry form get separated.
All entries become property of the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council office. Posters cannot be returned in most cases.
A 100-point scoring system will be used to determine the winners.
Slogan — 30 Points: How clearly is the theme presented?
Visuals — 30 Points: How well do the visuals convey the message?
Overall Impact — 40 points: How effective was the poster in capturing your attention and causing you to reflect on the topic at hand?
The decision of the council level winners (one in each age category) is final and at the discretion of Knights of Columbus Council #6354.
Council level: $50 for the first place entry in each age group (5-7, 8-10, 11-14).
